Eleonore Pullen explores prominent memories and frequent scenarios that appear in her life and as a second generation Québécois she places particular emphasis on her relationship with her British identity. Such memories and scenarios are often aspects of herself which she may not be comfortable with, such as her frequent feeling of disconnection from others. Pullen creates as a way of documenting her presence, as validation of her existence and as a way of mapping her footprint. Using subdued tones and ghostly, nondescript figures, she aims to evoke the transient quality of the human experience. Pullen's work serves as both a personal testament and a broader exploration of the human psyche, offering audiences a space to engage with the fragility of presence and the intricacies of selfhood.
